How to read the table

Each casino gets one column, and each row asks one question. The rows cover floor hours, days with live tables, poker, a hotel on site or next door, RV parking, shows, food and the operator. A cell marked "not published" means the casino says nothing on that row. That is not the same as no.

All hours are in local Saskatchewan time, set out as a single week that starts on Monday. Anything past midnight belongs to the day it started. The province keeps Central Standard Time all year, so its clock always matches Alberta's. Holiday hours are left out here; for those, see the casino's own site. Slot counts are left out of the table.

Who runs the nine

SaskGaming runs two of the nine: Casino Regina and Casino Moose Jaw. It is a subsidiary owned in full by Lotteries and Gaming Saskatchewan (LGS). LGS, a Crown corporation, has had conduct and management of gaming in the province since June 1, 2023. Regulation sits with SLGA, which stands for Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority.

SIGA operates the remaining seven; the initials stand for Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority. It describes itself as a First Nations, non-profit organization that reinvests all net proceeds in Saskatchewan. Net profits split differently by operator. From SIGA casinos, the First Nations Trust receives 50%, while Community Development Corporations and the provincial General Revenue Fund get 25% each.

For Casino Regina and Casino Moose Jaw, the General Revenue Fund receives 50%. The Community Initiatives Fund and the First Nations Trust each take 25%. The rewards cards mirror that line: across all seven SIGA casinos a single SIGA Rewards card works, in four tiers named Emerald, Gold, Platinum and Diamond. The two SaskGaming casinos share one Players Club, where points expire only after 12 months without activity.

How far apart they are

Distances on this page are all straight lines rather than road distances, and the guide offers no travel times. In a straight line, Casino Regina is 0.8 km from Regina City Hall. Dakota Dunes Casino is 26.9 km from Saskatoon City Hall. Measured from Saskatoon City Hall, Bear Claw Casino & Hotel sits 403.7 km away. Gold Horse Casino, in Lloydminster, is 484.0 km from Regina City Hall.

January 1996 brought the opening of Casino Regina. That same year, four SIGA casinos opened: Gold Eagle Casino, Northern Lights Casino, the reopened Bear Claw and Painted Hand Casino. Dakota Dunes opened in 2007, Living Sky Casino in 2008 and Gold Horse in 2018.

Questions, side by side

Which casinos have a hotel on the property?

Two casinos have a hotel on site. Bear Claw Casino & Hotel has 35 rooms. At Dakota Dunes Casino, the Whitecap Dakota Nation's resort has 155 rooms and suites. Casino Moose Jaw connects by pedway to the Temple Gardens hotel next door. Casino Regina has no hotel; the other five list none.

Which casinos publish no table hours?

Casino Moose Jaw lists blackjack, roulette and poker without hours. Casino Regina gives hours for its Poker Room only. Painted Hand Casino lists no live tables, and Bear Claw has no table-games page.

Can a shortlist be shared?

Yes, as a link to the page. The list rides after the # sign in the address, and browsers do not send that part to the server. Nothing is sent anywhere.
